1. Who is the ELE Training course for?

  • Teachers who teach Spanish as a foreign language at Secondary schools, Colleges, or Universities.
  • Native or non-native Spanish teachers with a Spanish level of C1.
  • Spanish Teachers who have had several years of experience teaching and who are currently working on ELE. The objectives of the ELE Training Program.


2. The objectives of the ELE Training Program

  • To show teachers the newest educational teaching trends to help achieve dynamic results in class.
  • To facilitate work with receptive dexterity through listening comprehension exercises, consisting of songs and contributions to strategy development.
  • To provide ELE Teachers with the techniques for affective and cognitive management of Spanish learning/teaching resources.
  • To contrast the methodological principles of teaching practices through observation of an ELE class
  • To reflect on linguistic components, such as grammar and pragmatics, from a methodological, innovative, practical, and current viewpoint.

3. Contents
The course content and programme will be published by february 2016.

4. Methodology of the course
This course is about ELE training with an emphasis on practical approaches. The objective is to being able to apply all the knowledge learned from the course and applying it to the classroom, and to hold a debate for participating teachers on the theoretic elements that have been covered in the guide. This participatory methodology allows you to display, share, and discuss experiences and the presentations of each topic. It also allows you to act more as a facilitators and enables completion of the debate, as well as conclusive achievements that will be useful in teaching ELE, especially with skill integration.

5. Certificate of Attendance and Accreditation of the ELE Course
At the end of the course, teachers will receive a certificate of attendance for the ELE teaching training course from AIL Madrid. This certifies the 25 hours of the course. The AIL Madrid Spanish Language School for foreigners accredited by the Instituto Cervantes, which meets the standards for the highest quality in teaching of the Spanish language.
